Gregorio Paradero Elementary School is one of the schools in the District of Tuy, Division of
Batangas that believes that rewards and recognitions systems are factors that will help for an excellent
performance of teachers, pupils as well as the school.

It also address to ensure quality on teachers , pupils and school’s performance in the fourth phase
of the new Results – based Performance Management System (RPMS) which aligns the performance
targets and accomplishments with the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers known as (PPST).

On the fourth cycle , the new RPMS focuses on Performance Rewarding And Development
Planning wherein the expected outputs are rewards and recognitions received by the teachers as they
efficiently performed their duties and responsibilities, pupils’ performances based on the skills and
competencies taught to them and the total performance of the school as the place or institution which
instruction is given in a particular discipline and where the different school activities are held.

Rewards and recognitions are very rewarding experiences for an excellent performance of an
individual and institution. It offers hope for meaningful achievements in different aspects in school
programs and activities. It boosts teachers and pupils’ personalities and make the school recognizes by
other institutions. Furthermore, it leads to great impact for quality improvements in classroom teaching
and learning situations and outcomes in the school system. Thus, it is a motivating factor for an
individual to perform well and have self - satisfaction and realization of school’s vision and mission
towards excellence.

GPES as a school is known in the Division of Batangas as a performing school wherein pupils and
teachers won in different activities and competitions given by the Department of Education like in
Brigada Eskwela Contest, Gulayan sa Paaralan, Athletic Competition, Journalism Contest, Sabayang
Pagbigkas and others.
