Welcome Speech For Annual Function
Welcome Speech For Annual Function
Greetings to one and all present here! I am extremely privileged to have this
opportunity to address you all at this important moment for celebrating our 23rd
Annual Day today. It is an honor for me to deliver my welcome speech for annual
function. Today’s children are the future of our state as well as our country.
Brilliant faces that I am witnessing today, receiving awards and exhibiting their
talents will grow up and definitely will be the citizens of our beloved nation
tomorrow. They may grow up to achieve great success, name, and fame as well as
high human values. But on the other hand, we wish them to be good human
beings also and make this world a better place to live in.
I am feeling proud in saying that the talent they have displayed here today is
sufficient to say that they have the potential to become worthy citizens of our
society. Education is about far more than what happens within the four walls of a
classroom.
Undoubtedly we are very fortunate to have such teachers, trainers, and instructors
who recognize this. If this infrastructure and teachers are the two resources
available to the school, then definitely, we the students are the third ones. Really,
one of the joys of teaching is to draw that creative, academic and sporting
potential out of the students.
We all are gathered here on this Annual Day to motivate and inspire the young
minds to showcase their talents. This is a highly important occasion for everyone.
It is because of that apart from the fact that this celebration highlights our school’s
continuous success in the area of education. And, this platform is also an
opportunity to welcome our Chief Guest of today’s evening.
On behalf of this institution, I cordially and respectfully welcome our chief guest
Mr. XYZ, who is a renowned social activist and serving as the active social
worker and fighting the people in actual need. We are grateful from the bottom of
our heart to him for courteously and gladly accepting our invitation for becoming
the chief guest of this occasion today.
Our chief guest doesn’t need any formal introduction as he is a well-known and
distinguished figure in society. He is been highly respected and known for his
kind deeds and selfless services for the society social service field. He has ties
with many Non-Government Organizations which are arranged for free medicines
and equipment for the needy people.
We are all aware of his impeccable behaviors which have changed the lives of
many. It’s really an honor to have him today as the chief guest or our annual day.
Welcoming Parents
To the world, our parents may be simply a person but for us, they may be the
world. This sentence is enough to give recognition and respect to our parents.
With immense pleasure on behalf of my school, we welcome our dear parents.
We do cherish your partnership and collaboration in all endeavors of our life. We
treasure your love and concern towards our institution which is our second home.
Your esteemed presence amidst.
Conclusion
In the end, I would like to welcome all the teachers, staffs and students who are an
integral part of this institution. I request all for your kind co-operation throughout
this program and making it a grand success.
Thank You!
