Synthesis Paper Rubric

The rubric assesses student synthesis papers across 5 criteria on a scale of 1 to 4: introduction/thesis/conclusion, summaries, synthesis, organization and coherence, and mechanics and citations. For each criterion, it describes the levels of achievement for scores of 4, 3, 2, and 1 in 2-3 sentences. The total possible score is 100 points.
