PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) is an applied discipline which equips the person with the
knowledge and skills in teaching in the basic education specifically in the elementary level. Relevant
competencies are attained within the context of national and global teachers standards, educational
philosophies and learning theories and principles. The BEEd program equips and meets the needs of future
professional teachers to sustain his role in society to become a transformative agent of change.
Degree Name
The degree program described herein shall be called Bachelor of Elementary Education
(BEEd)
Nature of the Field Study
The BEEd is an undergraduate teacher education program designed to prepare
individuals intending to teach in the elementary level
Specific Professions/Careers/Occupations of Graduates
After successful completion of all academic requirements for the degree/program, graduates
of BEEd should be able to practice the teaching profession in the Elementary Level.
PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Graduates of the BEEd Program must be able to:
