Unique Is Good

Unique, by definition means being the only one of its kind. Different from the

rest. The chances of you having an exact copy in the whole world are about one in 135

chance that a pair of complete doppelgangers exist somewhere in the world according to

science alert. Each one of us are different because of our genes inherited from our

parents and ancestors. Making us unique in our own way.

Gene is the basic physical and functional unit of heredity. Genes are made up

of DNA. Deoxyribonucleic acid or DNA is a double helix structure that contains our

genetic information. That helps in identifying our identity as a person. Genes for animals

such as humans, are contained within the cell nucleus. The mitochondria and the

chloroplasts also contain small subsets of genes distinct from the genes found in the

nucleus.
