Fire Safety Guide for Employees

The fire emergency plan outlines steps to take when a fire is discovered which include activating the nearest fire alarm, notifying the duty officer, and alerting site personnel if the alarm is unavailable. It describes when and how to fight a small fire and instructs occupants to evacuate the building through designated routes and assemble in a designated safe location outside until the all-clear is announced. The duty officer must ensure full evacuation and report any issues, while assistants help physically challenged members evacuate.
