Just a call from the external unit and a few
seconds. You’re at the door, you ring the bell and the
connected monitor sends a series of images to the
Comelit cloud service, inside which a familiar face
is detected: yours. The monitor sounds and warns
that a known person has arrived. The phone rings,
a notification arrives, it says you have arrived. But
this is not enough. If you want, the monitor will also
open the gate automatically, and why not? turn on
the driveway light.

1456B - MULTI-USER GATEWAY FOR VIP SYSTEM
The Multi User Gateway (MUG) is a device that allows residents to receive calls, view who is calling them
and open their door from anywhere in the world on their smartphone or tablet. The MUG is a single device
that only requires one internet connection, therefore all of this can be setup without the need to connect to
each individual apartment’s network –giving significant saving on time and money.
Furthermore, the MUG is flexible in that it can be retrospectively installed onto an existing Comelit VIP door
entry system or it can be installed as part of a new build. The MUG has options for all types of budgets as
there are three one-off licences to choose from with the MUG.
• Option 1 is to use the App with a physical door entry monitor known as a Slave License
• Option 2 is the use the Comelit App for video door entry calls via your mobile or tablets device only -
known as a Master license
• Option 3 is to have a telephone only license that makes an audio only call to a landline or mobile, known
as a telephone license.
With the flexibility of the VIP system you can also mix and match these licenses
Like all App’s, the Comelit App is reliant on having Wi-Fi or 3G/4G. However for peace of mind that you will
not miss a call, there is the possibility to have a telephone call option as a back-up.
The MUG has been designed very much with the installation company and building management Company
in mind, it is centrally managed via a very intuitive web interface, allowing the users on the system to be
changed, added or deleted.
1456 - MASTER APARTMENT GATEWAY
The Master Gateway gives the possibility for a resident to answer their calls, view who has called them and

Server device for ViP system that allows the recording, storage and playback of calls from external units.
Complete with Call-Log administrator software for settings (IP address, date, time, enable audio, video or
audio-video recording, recording duration and recording storage time) and recording filters (days of the
week, external unit making the call, internal unit receiving the call). Compatible with Windows operating
systems. 19 Vdc power supply. Equipped with power supply unit with 100-240 Vac 50/60 Hz input and 19
