This project contains the letters where in you will substitute it into numbers
from 0-9. Mathematical recreation in which the goal is to decipher an arithmetic
problem in which letters have been substituted for numerical digits. The aim of
the puzzle is to find out what digit each letter represents. If you like cryptarithms,
you might also like multiplication strikeout.
Description of Project
Cryptarithms or crypt-arithmetic problems are encrypted math problems,
where numbers in a given mathematical expression are represented by letters or
other symbols. There are two main types of cryptarithms: Hindu problems and
Alphametics. In Hindu problems, every digit in a mathematical expression is
concealed with the same symbol, usually an asterisk. Surprisingly, despite the
fact that once the original digits have been replaced by asterisks and they are
indistinguishable, these problems can be solved. Alphametics are puzzles where
each digit is replaced by a different symbol, usually a letter. Many alphametics
“spell out” words, making them more attractive and entertaining. One of the most
famous was invented by Henry Ernest Dudeney, a British puzzlist, in 1924:
SEND + MORE = MONEY.
Mathematical Concept
Cryptarithm solver handles classical mathematical operators
like additions + (plus), subtractions - (minus), multiplications * (times) and
divisions /. It also handles logical conditions like && = ET, || = OU and also
comparators superior and inferior > and <.
The solver takes for unknown between 1 and 10 distinct letters.
Example: A+A=B && B*C=AB is solved with 2+2==4 && 4*6==24
Example: DCODE+CODING=SOLVED => 92095+209764==301859.
This alphametic solver uses brute-force, ie. it tries all combinations of digits and
displays the possible ones.
Signifance of the project
Thie significance of this project contains the logical procedures which
helps the critical thinking of a person who is doing this. Cryptarithm puzzles are
fun, challenging puzzles good for anyone from age 10 to 100 or more. Logics
make a person challenge himself more to achieve its goal to calculate the given
problem.

Find A, B, C, and D. The digits that we can pick from are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8,

Important observation: The answer has 4 digits.
If the digit in red ( A ) is bigger than 2, the answer will have 5 digits instead 4.
Therefore A cannot be 3, 4, 5, 6,7, 8, or 9. A can be either 1 or 2.
Suppose that A is 1 as shown below. Then, 4 times D = 1

There are no numbers multiplied by 4 that will give you a 1 in the ones place. A
cannot be 1 and since A cannot be 1, A must be 2.

At this point, I feel more inclined to use the one on the right because 4 times 2
gives me the 8 that I want.

My strategy now is to pick the right number for B. As I try to do this I notice that B
cannot be bigger than 3. Anything bigger than 3 will have a carry that will force
the 8 in the answer to be bigger. 2 is not a choice either since 2 cannot be
repeated. My only choice for B then is 1.

When I do 4 times 8, I have a carry of 3.
4 times C + 3 must give a number with 1 in the ones place. My two choices for C
are 2 and 7. 2 cannot be chosen since the 2 will be repeated. My only choice for
C is 7.

in order to transcend the color of the design. We came up with the quotation
because logic and math are easy you just need to analyze it for you to
understand and answer the question. The question below the cryptharithm is to
provoke anyone who can see it and try to answer it. The picture is show where
