Clay Animals

Through creating clay animals, students will work on making them appear more realistic by focusing on texture, color, details, and proportions. The project involves selecting an animal to sculpt, doing sketches from different angles for approval, and then creating the general form with clay. Next, students will hollow out their clay animal and add textures and details using tools while referencing their sketches and research. Finally, projects will dry completely before being approved.
