OMICRON DELTA CHAPTER
Title: Ratifying the rules and procedure of Indoctrination (Initiation)
in this chapter.
Preamble: Article III Sec 5. (DECLARATION OF PRINCIPLES) Article V
(MEMBERSHIP) states the following:
ART III SEC 5. The Organization shall abide and be guided by the Law of the land
(Law of the Republic of the Philippines THE Constitutional and by laws, Civil
Laws, RPC and Special Laws) wherewith it exist.
ART V SEC 1.1 Bona-fide members are those who meet the requirements as
provided by this Constitution.
SEC 2.1 Bona-fide members must:
2.1.1 Must be least 18 years old
2.1.2 Should be physically fit;
2.1.3 Must possess good moral character as certified by the recruit
master;
2.1.4 Those student who earn 32 units in college with General Weight
Average (GWA) of 75 percent of better to be recommended by the recruit
master and
2.1.5 Those non-quitters in any organization aside from this
organization itself unless otherwise with reasonable and valid reasons.
SEC 4 Quitter of SUUL shall undergo the whole indoctrination (initiation) process
in order to retain his/her membership.
Whereas, during the last ANNUAL FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION of
OMICRON DELTA CHAPTER held in Victoria’s beach resort Bayabas Cagayan de Oro
City last February 25, 2018, the members of this chapter conducted a meeting with
its agenda about the procedures of indoctrination of applicants who wish to become
member of SUUL specifically in Omicron delta Chapter,

Whereas, during the 26th annual founding anniversary celebration held in
Bayabas Cagayan de Oro City last February 25, 2018, the Chapter Officer(s), and
Alumni have asked and proposed for ratification of initiation rites of this chapter
considering that the Senate approves the Anti-Hazing Act of 2018, the Senate
approved and were no negative votes and no abstention on Senate Bill No. 1662, the
measure that sought amendments to Republic Act No. 8049 to strengthen the law
on hazing and regulate other forms of initiation rites of fraternities
Whereas, too this date the pledges will no longer receive the traditional number
of such initiation rites with the following :
Two (2) baptismal, Four (4) Entrance/Welcome, Eight (8) Masters Paddle and Four
(4) GatePass/Last Blow.
Whereas, the officer(s) and Alumni approved the proposal for ratification of
indoctrination of this chapter and the future officers can ratified it again but no
longer to implement its previous rules of initiation rites.
Whereas, the officer(s) was requested to furnish this proposal and finalize the
final traditional number of indoctrination.
Wherefore, approved by The majority of the officers and members present during
meeting last Anniversary Celebration and/or teleconference on 2/25/2018 Sunday
3:00pm.
Wherefore, be it resolved finally, that this approved resolutions be disseminated
to all members concerned.
