Cloud Computing:

 Cloud Computing is a measure of sharing services,

storage, hardware , servers, databases or anything
with the help of internet.
 Elasticity and Scalability: It gives us the ability to expand
and reduce resources according to the specific service
requirement. For ex: we may need a large no of servers for
the duration of a specific task. We can release the
resources after the completion of our task.
 Pay Per Use/Self Service Provisioning:
Users can easily access cloud resources when required. It
is sold on demand. We pay for cloud services only when
we use them, it may for long/short duration.
 On-demanding:
Because we call services only when we need them, they
are nor permanent parts of the IT infrastructure, this is a
significant advantage for cloud use when compared to
internal IT services.
 Easy to access Information:
It provides easy to access information from anywhere
through an internet connection.
 Self Healing:
Cloud computing systems maintains backup of data and
applications, so that even in the case of failure, the system
functions without disruption.
 Multi Tenancy:
Public cloud service providers often can host the cloud
services for multiple users within the same infrastructure.
Server and storage isolation may be physical or virtual
depending on the specific user requirement.
 Service Level Agreements Driven:
The system is dynamically managed by SLA’s which defines
policies. It is the agreement between the cloud service
provider and the user.

Cloud Computing Architecture:

 Cloud computing architecture refers to the
components and subcomponents.
 A cloud computing architecture consists of two
parts- Front end and back end that connects each
other through a network, usually internet.
 The front end is the side of computer user sees.
 The Back end is the cloud section of the system.
 Front End:
The front end refers to the client part of the cloud
computing system. It consists of interfaces and
applications that are required to access the cloud
computing Platforms, Ex: Web Browser.
 Back end:
The back end refers to the cloud itself. It consists of
all the resources required to provide cloud
computing services. It comprises of huge data
storage, virtual machines, security mechanism,
services deployment models, servers, etc.
 Protocol:
There are some set of rules generally called as
protocols which are followed by server.
 Middleware:
Middleware allows the computers that are
connected on networks to communicate with each
other.
 Central Server:
Central Server is responsible for the smooth running
of the system. It monitors the system, traffic and
user demands.
