I. LEARNING At the end of the lesson the students will be able to:

III. PROCEDURE: The students will be grouped into 4 Groups
 “Fix Me Baby and Give Meaning to My Life”
A. Activity/Motivation -The students will be given strip papers in which words are being
jumbled. They will be going to fix those paper strips to come up
with a term assigned to them. They will give ideas or meaning on
that term. A representative per group will share their output in the
class. Two (2) terms each group. Two (2) minutes to brainstorm
ideas and two (2) minutes for sharing answers per group.
B. Analysis/Abstraction -Discussion of the activity
-Defining applied economics
 Do you think applied economics is necessary in solving
economic issues in our country? Why? Or Why not?
“GUESSING GAME”
a. Each group will pick to (2) rolled strip papers, within those
papers are economic problems in the country. Three (3) will
act the issue/problem given and the other members will
guess the problem being acted. Two (2) minutes per group to
act and guess the word given.
- Discussion of the activity
- What other economic problems in the country or in your
respective places can you identify?
-Why do you think this problem exists?
-Do you think a sound decision making is important in
situations like this? Why?
C. Application “ACT LIKE THIS”activity
Each group will be given economic situation oreconomic problem.
Members of the group will brainstorm ideas to solve the problem
and will act their solution through role playing. Three (3) – Five (5)
minutes to prepare and a maximum of three (3) minutes to perform
the role play.
D. Assessment Complete the table below. Three (3) – Five (5) minutes to prepare
and three (3) minutes to share output in class per group. Each group
will pick one topic.
