Boolean Search Connectors Explained

Boolean search connectors allow users to refine search results by indicating the logical relationship between search terms. Some common Boolean connectors include AND, OR, and NOT. Phrase searching can be done with quotation marks. Proximity searching finds terms within a specified number of words using connectors like w/n, w/sen, and w/par. Wildcard searching uses symbols like * and ? to return terms with variations on the root word or missing letters. Combining different Boolean connectors enables highly targeted legal research.
