1. To always compare yourself to others is unhealthy.
- In a social aspect, we tend to always compare ourselves primarily based on our physical
appearances. You may scroll in to perfect Instagram feeds and begin to resent ourselves in a way
that we unconsciously try to be someone else. Same goes to academics, if we tend to always
compare ourselves to the success of others may lead to depression and being unmotivated. There
is no greater weapon to move forward than to love and to trust yourself fully.
2. Organizing your things increases productivity and clears the mind.
- Piled up paper works is a usual setting of a student’s study desk. Therefore, I have come to
realize that it is really essential to organize especially when we are always against with time.
3. Always have your day planned out. Yes, DAILY.
- Associated to organization, you will never leave a day to delay something you’re supposed
to do. I use an app called ‘Accomplish’ to remind me of my daily to-do time frame in a day.
4. Grab the opportunity or you’ll regret it later.
- I have turned down countless of opportunities that I certainly regret through the years. I’m
not saying that you SHOULD accept in whatever opportunity that comes in your way. Of course
always weigh the pros and cons in making the decision.
5. Focus on your goal, you have your own definition of success.
- Learning is brought with us in a lifetime, and we have our own phase of getting to the peak
of success may it be fast or slow.
6. Save! Save! Save!
7. Be better than yesterday.
8. Getting enough sleep is a must.
9. Document everything.
10. Take care of your body, do exercise.
11. Don’t be afraid to try new things.
12. There is no other best support system than your family.
13. Give time to enjoy yourself, don’t be stuck in the same space everyday.
14. Limit yourself to social media.
15. It’s okay to be alone.
