UNIT - IV

Lean Manufacturing Seven wastes, Lean Tools to eliminate Muda – 5S, TPM,
Standardised work, Poka-Yoke, SMED, Kanban, JIT, Value stream mapping, Six
Sigma – Methodology, tools.

UNIT - V

Manufacturing Automation Automation and control techniques, Numerical control,


Robotics, Material handling, FMS, Cellular manufacturing.
