Musical Events:

Tawag ng Uwian sa SEAIDITE : President edition



Each organization President will be the main performer.

Each organization President must sing.

Backup performer is limited to at least 3-6 members (Co-president and officers only)

The song choice is open locally and internationally

Each performance should be limited to 4-5 minutes only, including the entrance and exit.

Criteria:
 Costume 10%
 Entertainment factor 40%
 Choreography 35%
 Stage Presence 15%
 TOTAL 100%

Total Performer

Each team will have one (1) FEMALE or MALE representative.

The song choice must be upbeat.

2-4 backup dancers are allowed.

Second voice or any background voice in the minus one is prohibited.

Each performance should be limited to 4-5 minutes only, including the entrance and exit.

Criteria:
 Voice Quality 30%
 Diction and Timing 20%
 Gracefulness 25%
 Costume/Props 10%
 Overall Impact 15%
 TOTAL 100%

SEAIDITE Idol
 Each team shall have one (1) representative.
 The song should be composed by the team’s representative (The beat of an original
song can be taken but the lyrics should be your representative’s composed lyrics)
 “SEAIDITE Agbiag” must be included in the lyrics.
 The type of genre is open.
 Each performance should be limited to 4-5 minutes only, including entrance and exit.
Criteria:
 Voice quality 30%
 Diction and Timing 20%
 Originality 25%
 Overall Impact 15%
 Costume 10%
 TOTAL 100%

BoyBand or GirlBand Battle


 There will be at least 4-7 members each team.
 The group must have their own name, “Cracker” must be included.
 The song choice must be upbeat.
 Second voice or any background voice in the minus one is prohibited.
 The group must come up with their own rendition of the song.
 Each performance should be limited to 4-5 minutes only, including entrance and
exit.
Criteria:
 Voice Quality 35%
 Blending 25%
 Choreography 20%
 Overall Impact 10%
 Synchronization 10%
 TOTAL 100%

Battle of the Band


 Each group must have a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 9 members.
 Each band will be given 15 minutes to render their songs on stage.
 Each band will be given a maximum of 5 minutes on stage for preparation
(Tuning instruments, etc.)
 Each band must perform two cover songs or warm-up songs and one original
song. Only the original song will be judged.
 The original song must be not less than 3 minutes in full length.
 Each band must have their own name.
 “Agbiag SEAIDITE” is included in duration of performance.
Criteria:
 Originality 30%
 Presentation 20%
 Quality of Performance 20%
 Preparedness 20%
 Interface with Audience 10%

NOTE: The council will provide the available instruments only (Drums, Bass
Guitar, Acoustic Guitar), the unavailable instruments that will be used should
bring by their own participating member.

DANCING EVENTS:

STEP UP
A.) High Steps
 Each team will have 15-20 members (Dancers only).
CRITERIA:
 Discretion of Judges

B.) STEP UP ; Nutcrackers


 Each team will have fifty (50) dancers including four (4) who will hold the flags
and six (6) who will hold the hand props.
 Costume must be related to team’s identity.
 The music will be provided by the committee.
CRITERIA:
 Synchronization 35%
 Choreography 35%
 Overall Impact 15%
 Costume 15%
 TOTAL 100%

NOTE: Who hold the flags and hand props must not dance.
The flags and hand props must not exceed 2 meters in total length.

Skilled Folk pop



Each team shall compose of 8-12 dancers/students.

The performance should be a remix of pop and a Filipino Folk dance and must include
Sayaw sa Bangko ( Maximum of 2 layers only )

Props are allowed.

4-6 minutes is given for the performance time of each team including the entrance and
the exit.

Criteria:
 Choreography 35%
 Execution 30%
 Synchronization 25%
 Costume/Props 10%
 Creativity 5%
 TOTAL 100%
WOD; SEAIDITE

There should be a minimum number of 7 members each team.

The performance’s concept should have a touch of the team’s identity.

Ground level stunts are only limited to backflip, rolling and cartwheel.

Lifting is allowed as long as there will always be direct contact of the lifter and the one to
be lifted.

Lifting stunts shall not exceed the two-level limit.

Props shall not be prohibited.

5-7 minutes is given for the performance time of each team including the entrance and
the exit.

Each team will be given warm up dance during SEAIDITE week.

Judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.

 Relevance to the theme 10%

DANCE SPORTS
 This event consists of two categories, Latin and Standard.
 Each team shall have one (1) pair for Latin and one (1) pair for Standard.
 The couple may use step(s) with lifting or exhibition as long as the safety of performers
is taken into consideration.
 THE INTERNATIONAL RULES IS SUSPENDED.
 Couple number will be given before the competition.
 Using of adhesive materials to secure the footwear of the dancers shall be not allowed.
 Judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.
LATIN
 Chachacha 60 bars (1 minute)
 Samba 60 bars (1 minute)
 Jive 60 bars (1 minute)
 Pasa Doble 60 bars (1 minute)
STANDARD
 Viennese Waltz 60 bars (1 minute)
 Tango 60 bars (1 minute)
 Foxtrot 60 bars (1 minute)
 Quick Step 60 bars (1 minute)
Criteria:
Preliminaries – Discretion of the Judges
Finals – Discretion of the Judges

Dance Duo

There will be 1 pair for each team (Either male to male, female to male, female to
female)

The dance genre is open to any type of dance.

2 minutes and 30 seconds is the time given for the whole performance including the
entrance and the exit and should not exceed the given time.

Every exceed of 30 seconds will be equivalent to 1-point deduction to final score.

Dangerous stunts are not allowed. Stunts that includes fire, sharp objects, and the
others that may lead to minor or serious injuries of the performers.

Remixed music is allowed and all music must be submitted to the Socio cultural
coordinators.

The dance must have a concept.

Criteria:
 Creativity 25%
 Execution 20%
 Synchronization 20%
 Originality 15%
 Interpretation 15%
 Costume 5%
 TOTAL 100%

Description:
 Original dance concept of a creative routine and choreography.
 Well-coordinated, synchronized movements and timing.
 Mastery in execution of the routine, dance forms, and complex moves.
(Note: Additional 1 point for each complex moves as determined by the judges)
 The ability to create something new.
 Ability to deliver the story to the audience effectively.
 Attractiveness and neatness. Costume must in rhyme with the dance concept.

ELEMENTS
 Each team shall have one (1) participant only.
 The genre of the dance is K.R.U.M.P. The type of the dance is freestyle.
 The time provided for each dancer is 1 minute.
 The music will be provided by the committee.

Criteria:
 Timing 30%
 Execution 30%
 Choreography 20%
 Overall Impact 20%
 TOTAL 100%

FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
 Each team shall have fifty (50) participants open for male or female.
 All props must have lights.
 Each team will be given specific time to execute their choreography, and all teams will
execute all at once.
 Maximum area will be given and the participants should not exceed the given area while
performing.
 The music will be provided by the committee.
Criteria:
 Execution/Synchronization 30%
 Choreography 25%
 Visual Impact 30%
 Costume and Props 15%
 TOTAL 100%
