CLASS POLICIES
Only officially enrolled students in the course, as ascertained by the University of Santo
1 ADMISSION Tomas Registration Form shall be admitted to class; unless, otherwise endorsed by the
administration.
For a 4-hour subject the maximum allowable absences in 20% of the total contact hours.

For attendance of the College of Architecture, the following policies shall be observed:
Any student who arrives 15 minutes late after the time shall be marked “late;

Beyond one hour shall be marked “absent”.


2 ATTENDANCE
Three counts of being late shall be equivalent to 1 day of absence hour of being absent.

Attendance of a student includes wearing of prescribed uniform with appropriately


displayed UST Student I.D. In cases wherein there is a deviation from the prescribed
uniform and / or missing UST Student I.D., student must first see endorsement from the
Office of Student Affairs to be admitted to class.
CLASSROOM Pursuant to Code of Conduct and Discipline of UST, the student must observe proper

DECORUM decorum during and after the class hours within school grounds.
Special Major Examinations (Prelims and Finals) are given should a student be unable to
take a scheduled exam due to considerable reasons provided a letter of request with the
endorsement of the Dean’s Office is presented. Failure to take the scheduled Special
Examination on time shall merit the student with a zero mark for the exam.
4 EXAMINATIONS
On major examination, students must present their examination permits before the exam
or any correspondence endorsed by the Dean’s Office authorizing the student to take
examination.
Consultation hours with the student shall be held at the College of Architecture Faculty

All requirements for completion shall be submitted at the latest one week before the start
