Start By:

a. Separate track.

1. Use suitable lifting device to raise track assembly (1) and install suitable cribbing.

2. Install Tooling (B). Attach suitable lifting device to track assembly (1). Use Tooling (A) to lift
and support track assembly (1).

3. Remove bolts (2) and guard (3). Repeat for other side. Remove guard (4).

4. Remove bolts (5) and guard (6).

5. Remove nuts (7). Remove bolts (8). Remove guard (9).

6. Remove bolts (10). Repeat for other side.

7. Attach suitable lifting device to front idler (11). The approximate weight of front idler (11) is
approximately 166 kg (365 lb). Use suitable lifting device to remove front idler (11) until track
adjuster (12) is accessible.

8. Attach suitable lifting device to track adjuster (12). Use suitable lifting device to level the entire
assembly and support for removal.

9. If necessary remove bolts (13), shims (14), and wear strips (15).

Note: Note the location and the number of shims for installation purposes.

10. Support front idler (11) and track adjuster (12) on suitable cribbing. Remove four bolts (16).
Remove track adjuster (12).

Installation Procedure
1. Install front idler (11) and track adjuster (12) in the reverse order of removal.

a. If necessary, install shims (14), wear strips (15), and bolts (13) in the order removed.

Note: When installing, be sure that front idler assembly (11) is properly aligned with
both the carry roller and the sprocket.
