An introduction, using both lecture and lab practice. Computer Applications course
designed to familiarize students with computers and their applications.
Students will learn fundamentals concepts of computer software and become
familiar with a variety of computer applications, including word-processing, spreadsheets,
and multimedia presentations. Students will investigate Internet based applications, work
with email and learn how to browse the internet.

Course Aims and Objectives:


The course aims to introduce and familiarize all students, whatever their previous
experience and backgrounds, to the use of Personal Computers associated software packages,
