1.0 General
1.1 Company Profile

Classic Fashion Apparel Industry Ltd. Co. was established in the year 2003, in Al-Hassan Industrial Estate, the
world´s first Qualifying Industrial Zone, in Al-Ramtha, near Irbid city, in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It
then had only two production lines engaging 300 people and 130 machines and its turnover, then, was just 2
million US dollars per annum.

Now, slightly more than a decade later, Classic Fashion has over 10,000 machines and 23000 employees,
producing between 200,000 and 250,000 garments per day achieving a total output of 88 million garments
in 2017, earning an annual turnover exceeding 1760 million dollars. In the garment manufacturing sector in
Jordan the Company leads the export sector with a 24% share of Jordan's total garment exports.

Classic Fashion supplies garments of top quality such as active wear - knit tops and bottoms, outer wear -
jackets, woven denim and twill bottoms, woven tops, uniform wear - jackets and bottoms, formal wear -
pants and tops, work wear, etc. to world leaders in retail marketing like Adidas, Under Armour Inc., Wal-
Mart Stores Inc., Hanes Brand Inc., GAP Inc., Gear for Sports Inc., American Eagle Outfitters Inc., One
Jeanswear Group, J.C. Penney Company Inc., Lands' End, etc. The Company has been included in the Golden
List of Companies established by the Ministry of Labor of the Kingdom of Jordan. It is also a member of ILO-
IFC Better Work Program.

1.2 Purpose of This Manual

This Manual Defines the Environmental Management System (EMS) Of Organization Textile activities and
Contains:
1. Understanding Our Business One/ Its Potential Impact
2. The Context of the Organization
3. Leadership on Commitment
4. The Environmental Policy
5. Statements of Responsibility and Authority
6. An overview of The Company’s Environmental procedures and Controls/S;
7. The Identification of the Resources and Trailing Allocated to Management, Performance of the work
and Verification Activities Including Internal Audit;
8. The Appointment of the Environmental Management Representative (EMR); And
9. The Arrangement for Periodic management reviews.

The Purpose Of This Manual Is To Demonstrate That This Ems Meets. All ISO14001:2015 Requirements And
Provide Guidance And Direction For The Implementation And Operation Of The EMS To All Personnel
Including All Relevant Documents.

1.3 Scope of the environmental management system

The scope of the EMS applies to the business activates related to the textile products provided Undertaken
by CFAI. Also the locations and areas to be covered in the EMS. CFAI also endeavor to pursue strategy
that not only encompasses all our activities but also that of our suppliers and customers and
stakeholders. In doing this we aim to influence our impact on the environment not only of our business but
of all business and organizations that we use or interact with.
