INVESTMENT CLIMATE REFORM UNIT
Planning & Development Department Government of Punjab has established Investment Climate Reform Unit (ICRU) for improving
investment climate in the Province of Punjab. The following Position is required to be filled on urgent basis at market based salary.

ideas and knowledge based recommendations.
o Systematic, organized, and detail-oriented, with ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast moving
environment and meet tight deadlines with professionalism;
o Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team;
o Maximum 50 years of age.
Job Description
o Structure sophisticated investment vehicles for facilitation of enabling investment climate and access
to finance funds.
o Develop strategy and roll out plans for sophisticated funds and investment vehicles and instruments
;
o Develop and analyze sector specific policies and identify loopholes in the procedures that need to be
resolved to create an enabling investment environment;
o Provide facilitation and manage local and foreign investment projects.
o Collaborate with other agencies in improving investment related policies for bringing them in
accordance with international best practices to attract local and foreign investors;
o Apply international best practices and assist Managing Director in creating strategies related to
Investment Climate Reforms
o Formulate a robust investment strategy, including setting attractive incentives.
o Contribute to develop longer term policy reform procedural simplification and legislative
amendments based on various activities being undertaken with in ICRU recommendation
o Assist Managing Director in donor coordination pertaining the scope of work of the department
specific
o Undertake any other task assigned by the Managing Director ICRU from time to time.
