GeoSlope Guide for Engineers

This document provides step-by-step instructions for using GeoSlope software to calculate the safety factor for slope stability of a soil type. The 18 steps include: starting the GeoSlope program; creating a new project; setting display options like printers and scales; defining the soil material properties, regions, and water levels; drawing the slope profile and slip surfaces; running the slope stability analysis; and viewing the analysis results in reports, slip surface diagrams, and graphs. Completing the exercises allows the user to learn how to model a simple soil slope stability problem using GeoSlope's limit equilibrium analysis tools.
