BLESSING AND
INAUGURATION
Caba, La Union - Demonstrating remarkable political will and resourcefulness where his
predecessors in this 4th class town's 421-year-old history are still dreaming, Caba Mayor
Philip Caesar P. Crispino leads the officialdom in turning over this morning the P5
million three-storey Caba Police Station to the PNP's top brass led by PSSupt Flynn E
Dongbo, Asst. Deputy Regional Director for Operations, representing PCSupt Romulo E
Sapitula, Regional Director, PRO 1.
This is the first PNP Building in La Union province where a Local Government Unit
(LGU) donated the lot and provided all the funds for the construction of the building.
The new Caba Police Station building is located at Estalilla Street on a lot owned by the
municipal government. It is now the tallest building structure in the town's burgeoning
landscape.
The groundbreaking was held on August 31, 2018 and finished on January 31, 2019.
In his brief message, Mayor Crispino said that building the structure is his town's primal
commitment to the cause of peace and order, anti-drug abuse campaign and anti-
corruption drive.
Crispino exhorted his town mates and fellow elective officials to continue their collective
support and unity of his leadership in their journey to transform it in conformity with
their vision and mission.
Caba, under Crispino's stewardship garnered Seal of Good Local Governance twice in a
row (2017-2018), Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping this year and declared a Drug-
free Municipality by the National Anti-Drug Abuse Council.
A boodle fight of roasted calf, sea foods, fish, pork barbeque and fresh watermelons at
the rooftop capped the building inauguration.
In an earlier interview by CAP, Caba's First Lady Donna Rillera Crispino revealed her
husband, Mayor Crispino had to fork his personal funds to complete the construction.
PNP's regional and provincial top brass, municipal and barangay officials, line agencies
and the people witnessed the blessing, turn-over and inauguration.
We are sharing some of the pictures taken.
