Crash scene & Felix’s death [MONTAGE]
(Driving sounds, girl laughter and music {“Passin’ me by” – Tha
Pharcyde}. Beer can opens as scene goes from black screen to CU date
on car clock (29/10/19 when she dies) in car and CU/MS steering
wheel. Cut to MS feet walking, same song but through headphones
[WITH CONTINUITY], CU headphone shot as well. Cut to CU of boy
drinking in car, CU of girl smiling and drinking. Cut to MS walking
feet slowly stopping to a halt [Audio of Felix’s death scene is
cut]. Cut to car engine revving louder. Cut to CU picture of girl
[Audio of car, laughter & music playing over], then to CU Felix’s
wide eye. Sound of tyres screeching and crash sounds while on
Felix’s eye, cut to black halfway through).
First Encounter
(CU Car clock to be shown as 10/10/20, cut to MS Felix parking
showing steering wheel, MS back of seat showing him turning around.
CU/MS cut to turning off ignition. MS/CU Door opens through camera.
Felix gets out of car then shuts and locks door. Felix turns around
back towards car and gets headache, girl is in car against window.
LS of Felix enduring headache with back to car. CU to MS of Felix
turning around to reveal girl no longer in car with lights off. CU
of Felix confused, he then walks out of shot).
Cooking Scene
(LS camera raises up from side of counter to show Felix putting
saucepan down, CU of flame and oven being put on [LOUD LAYERED
KITCHEN SOUNDS]. MS of bowl being put into microwave, CU of
microwave turning on. CU of carrots being chopped & peeled. [ALL
SOUNDS STOPPED] MS birds eye view of dirty plate being put on the
side. MS/LS of Felix leaning against counter, turns around, CU of
Felix looking at picture). J-CUT ->
Bathroom Encounter
J-CUT -> ([SPITTING & TAP SOUND] CU of Felix rising into shot as tap
turns off, CU of Felix getting headache, CU->LS push focus of Felix
in pain then to girl sitting on bath. LS of both of them in shot.
Bedtime Grieving
(LS panning shot of Felix lying in bed looking at photo, CU of photo
of girl. CU side shot of Felix’s eye, CU of Felix doing a regretful,
sad face. MS of Felix putting picture back then turning light off
cut to black).
Park Encounter
LS of Felix walking over to bench then sitting down on end of bench,
arms on knees, LS of front of bench, Felix reaches to pocket, CU of
hand reaching in pocket, follow hand to end viewing point for Felix.
LS of Felix sitting, changes position as looking at photo. MS shot
of back of bench, girl appears, arm around her. MS of feet behind
bench, picture falls down. CU of Felix having headache. LS from
right of Felix having headache.
Tinder
CU Side view of phone, Felix setting up Tinder account. CU confused
look of Felix. CU confused thumbs then swiping, CU raised eyebrows,
CU/MS upside down view of swiping. LS Hidden angle of Felix on phone
in bed.
Sleep Paralysis Nightmare
[INTENSE GIRL LAUGHING, REVERSED SONG FROM CRASH SCENE] MS birds eye
of Felix sleeping, turns around in sleep the wakes up in a sleep
paralysis state, slow zoom in as he wakes up. LS (POV) Looking round
room, panicked. LS hidden shot spying on Felix. LS (POV) looks down
from ceiling and see’s girl standing at end of bed. MS (POV) of girl
standing above Felix, LS of girl in corner of room staring at Felix,
MS (POV) of girl sat on bed. LS of girl sat on bed staring at Felix,
jump cut of her closer. CU of scared and still paralysed Felix
looking and losing eye contact with girl. CU side shot of girl
looking down with calm face. CU of her moving closer, she then opens
mouth [RASPY, CRUNCHES OF JAW. MUSIC STOPS AND CUTS TO NEXT SCENE].
Reality
[PASSIN’ ME BY PLAYING FAINTLY, ECHOING, HIGH FREQUENCY, RYTHMATIC
BREATHING] CU of sleeping Felix’s eye moving, CU Felix awakes then
camera moves with Felix from his side onto his back. MS side Felix’s
face looking down [BOTTLE AND CAN SOUNDS]. CU->LS push focus from
cans to Felix who jumps up in surprise. MS, DA of Felix quivering,
panicking, holding onto the wall, LS of Felix crumbling, curling up
in to a ball. MS of Felix slowly turning his head and looking over
to the right. CU->LS push focus from behind Felix looking over to
headphones. MS of Felix slowly getting up [CAMERA FOLLOWING] staring
past camera with realised face, camera levelling with his face, slow
zoom in.
Happy Living
[INVOCATION, INSTRUMENTAL – COMMON] MS birds eye view of Felix
waking up with headphones on and gets up out of shot. LS of Felix
making tea, Birds eye view of him pouring sugar into tea, CU side
view of tea steam, LS of him sitting down with tea. MS Low to High
shot of Felix walking confidently. Cut to black, song echoes out.
Death Day
[QUIET “PASSIN’ ME BY” THROUGH HEADPHONES] MS of phone coming into
shot then swiftly moving out of shot. MS behind shot of Felix
walking quickly, follow feet walking quickly, moving CU of stressed
face then walks past camera. MS behind shot of looking left then
right, moving with head. MS of stepping off curb, LS behind of
walking to middle of road slowly stopping. [“PASSIN’ ME BY” FADES
OUT]SLOWMOTION: LS of side; Felix slowing to a stop staring in front
of him. CU side of face; mouth hanging open, breathe in the air,
[ECHOED BREATHING]. CU->LS push focus from Felix to back of girl 2.
CU of Felix looking down. [LOW RUMBLING CAR SOUND STARTS] CU over
shoulder shot of picture, CU of girl 2 hair shimmying, CU of girl in
picture. CU of Felix’s eye’s frowning, confused. MS of girl 2
turning around, covering mouth, pointing and screaming [INAUDIBLE].
CU of Felix confused. CU of girl 2 mouth [SCREAMING GET LOUDER
SUDDENLY]. MS of Felix looking up in surprise and confusion. CU of
girl 2 fingertip, quick focus. MS of Felix turning around, follow
his face turning, he then looks through camera with worry, walk into
his face. Zoom out/Come out of ground, MS of headphones sliding into
shot. CU->LS Push focus from headphones to Felix lying in distance,
slow rising of camera. LS of headphones and Felix apart from each
other, girl running over. CU of back of Felix’s shoulder, start to
pan down arm parallel to blood, ends at his hand with picture of
girl in hand, finger twitch, slow zoom into her evil smile.
