Regimental Structure In Gaius' New Army

Rank – 10 Men 8 Privates 2 Corporals ( file leader and closer men who have chosen to serve as a
career)

Laager 34 Men
24 Privates 6 Corporals 1 Sergeant 3 Noncombatants.
The unit is organized around a wagon which holds the excess gear and supplies for the Unit. Includes
mules, donkeys, horses or oxen depending on availability. When camping the unit will position wagons
on the outside of the formation making a makeshift wall

Company 152 Men


96 Privates 24 Corporals 4 Sergeants 2 Company Sergeants 1 Captain 1 Ensign ( Banner Bearer )
24 Noncombatants 0-2 Lieutenants ( Gentlemen/ Graduated cadets/ or Nobles who assist the
command of the company)
The Unit is Commanded by a Captain commissioned from the Regimental Colonel and required to
have served in some combat capacity for at least 4 years ( mostly from Lieutenants or from knights)
Traditional companies are ½ pikes ( in some units swords and shields) ¼ Muskets (probably
crossbows or longbows ) ¼ Great swords or Halberds)

Company Sergeants 3 Silver a day (100G 8 S ) 2016g per year

Sergeants 2 Silver a day (67G 2 S) 2688g per year

Corporals 1.5 silver a day (50g 4 S) 13708G 8 S per year

Privates 1 silver a day ( 33G 6 S ) 32256 G per year
