NARRATIVE REPORT ON SCHOOL INTRAMURALS 2019

Theme: Bridging the Gaps of Generation Through Healthy Sports Competition

The Sapang Biabas Elementary School believes that learning process

of the pupils does not only happen inside the four corner of the classroom to fully
develop the potential of each learner, one has to be emotionally, intellectually,
Spiritually and physically ready.
It is with this ideal that every year Intramurals are being held in each school,
in this cluster. The base of the intramural program is the instructional physical-education
program that reaches all the pupils by providing activities or opportunities for those who
are interested in extending their skills in P. E. and be competitive in nature. The top of the
pyramid reaches fewer pupils but it is intended for those who are exceptionally talented.

The activities done were the following:

1. Dance Calisthenics
2. Zumba Dance
3. Mr. &Ms Intramurals 2018 (Primary and Intermediate Level)
4. Larong Pinoy for teachers ( Patintero, Tug of War, Sack Race, Kadang-kadang)

Different sports played (Intermediate): Volleyball, Badminton, Chess, Sepak Takraw, Athletics
Larong Pinoy (Primary): Patintero, Hilahang-lubid, Karera ng sako, Kadang-kadang

The Intramurals held on September 5-6, 2019 at Maryland covered court (Due to school
classrooms renovation) .It was indeed successful event for it turned to be a friendly
competition. Another reason for having this event was for us to select pupils who will compete
for the Cluster Meet.
