Solve this. Give your answer in lowest terms.

To solve the above equation, we first we convert these mixed fractions to improper
fractions:

Then we find a common denominator of the given 3 fractions.

To find the common denominator, we find the L.C.M. of the denominators- 3, 7 and
8; which is 168.

Then we perform the calculations:

= (56x16) – (24x55) + (21x31)
