1 Make sure the blade is sharp
Make sure the safety guard is in place and is
2 properly adjusted.
Set the saw blade so that it will extend about ½" -
3 ¼" above the stock to be cut.
Stand to one side of the saw, so that you will not be
4 hit if the board kicks back.
No adnustment shall be made while the blade is
5 moving.
Keep your hands away from the saw blade and use
6 proper guard to protect your hands.
Never reach behind a saw blade to pull stock
7 through.
8 Use a push stick when necessary.
Always use the ripping fence or the cut off guard.
9 Never saw with hands.
10 Always wear appropriate eye protector.
