10.1 cementitious coating -
10.1.1 Screed to slope

10.1.2 Cementitious Coating
Minimum 1mm thick two component polymer modified elastomeric
cementitious waterproofing coating of approved make, applied min two coats

conforming to the following parameters:
(i) minimum adhesion strength of 1 N/mm2
(ii) minimum tensile strength of 1.8 N/mm2
NOTE: Rate shall include the following: -
(i) Pipe & Cable penetration treatment,Pedestal,Parapet termination &
Construction Joint treatment.
(ii) Minimum 10 years system performance guarantee in addition to product
performance guarantee from both the principal material supplier & applicator
along with shop drawing.

10.1.3 Protection Screed
20mm thick M15 grade screed concrete with 6mm downgraded aggregate
admixed with Integral liquid waterproofing admix conforming to the following
parameters and as per vendor specification.
(i) Minimum specific gravity of 1.05 and adhering to IS 2645 (latest rev) for -
water impermeability.
(ii) Minimum dosage of 150ml per 100kgs of cement.

10.1.4 Sunken Slab Filling
250mm thck Brick jelly cement concrete 1:3:6 using 20mm downgraded brick
jelly admixed with Integral liquid waterproofing admix (with minimum specific
gravity of 1.05) as per vendor specification.
(i) Minimum specific gravity of 1.05 and conforming to IS 2645 (latest rev) for -
water impermeability.
(ii) Minimum dosage of 150ml per 100kgs of cement.

10.2 TERRACE WATERPROOFING -
10.2.1 Over deck insulation
The roof insulation shall be with 80mm thk impervious, sprayed, closed cell,
Chloro Floro Carbon and Hydro Chloro Floro Carbon FREE Poly Urethane
Foam over deck insulation conforming to IS-12432 ( Density of foam being Sq.m 5,741
40-45 kg/cum) over a coat of polyurethane primer applied @ 6-8 sqm per litre
on the terrace slab.
10.2.2 Geotextile Mat
200 GSM non-woven polyproplene Geotextile mat with minimum thickness of
2mm, loosely laid over the insulation with a minimum overlap of 100mm Sq.m 5,741

10.2.3 Waterproofing Membrane
Min. 1.1 mm thick non - reinforced, rubber based fully bonded EPDM
membrane as per manufacturers specification, bonded to concrete with
surface using factory mutual approved neoprene based bonding adhesive.
Min.75mm wide rubber polymers butyl double sided tape should be used to
amke water tight quick seam between two EPDM membranes.,
The EPDM shall be conforming to the following parameters:
(i) Minimum tensile strength of 8.3 N/sq.m
(ii) Minimum elongation of 300%
(iii) Minimum tear strength of 27KN/m
NOTE : Rate shall include the following items:
(i) Principle vendor approved Adhesive for all horizontal & Vertical surfaces

10.2.4 Geotextile Mat
500 GSM non-woven polyproplene Geotextile mat with minimum thickness of
2mm, loosely laid over the insulation with a minimum overlap of 100mm Sq.m 7,266
10.2.5 Protection Concrete to slope
Average 100mm thick M20 grade protection concrete with 10mm downgraded
aggregate admixed with integral waterproofing compound and polyester/
polypropylene fibres (dosage of fibres shall be 900 g/ cum) finished smooth Sq.m 6,837
on top and laid to slope as per drawings (Min 1 in 100 slope) over geotextile
mat.
10.2.6 Heat Resistant Terrace Tiles
Providing and fixing the 300 mm x 300 mm x 20 mm heat resisting tiles on 25
mm thick cement sand mortar in the ratio of 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)
and grouting the joints with mix of white cement & marble powder in ratio of Sqm 7,266
1:1, including providing skirting upto 300 mm height along the parapet walls
in the same manner.
10.3 RAFT WATER PROOFING -
10.3.1 Geotextile Mat
150 GSM non-woven polyproplene Geotextile mat ,loosely laid over the PCC

10.3.2 EPDM Membrane

10.3.5 Swellable Waterstops
Providing and placing in position suitable Synthetic Rubber swelling water
stop specially designed for construction joints in concrete with the help of
suitable adhesive. It should be capable to swell 1000% of its original volume
to seal the construction joint and stop water. It should be trapezoid, flexible Rm 529
rubber strip of size 5x20mm having density of 1.2-1.25gm/cm3 having tensile
strength more than 3mpa. It should be capable to withstand water pressure
resistance more than 0.8mpa (8bar).

10.4 RETAINING WALL WATER PROOFING -
10.4.1 EPDM Membrane
Min. 1.1 mm thick non - reinforced, rubber based Prefabricated EPDM
membrane as per manufacturers specification, fully BONDED to the RCC
surface using FM approved neoprene base bonding adhesive with a minimum
lap of 100mm on vertical surface and overlap joints will be sealed using
double sided splice tape 75mm .
The EPDM membrane shall conforming to the following parameters:
(i) Minimum tensile strength of 8.3 N/sq.m
(ii) Minimum elongation of 300%
iii) Minimum tear strength of 27KN/m
NOTE : Rate shall include the following items: Sq.m 6,205

10.4.2 Dimpled Sheet
0.5mm thick HDPE dimpled sheet with minimum dimple height of 8 mm, laid
over waterproofing membrane on the vertical face of raft slab and retaining
wall with a minimum lap of 100mm and conforming to the following
parameters: Sq.m 6,205
(i) Minimum weight of 500 g/sq.m
(ii) Compressive strength greater than or equal to 200KN/sq.m
(iii) Air-gap volume between dimples 5 l/sq.m
10.4.3 Bitumastic Sealant
Applying Single component, flexible, bitumastic sealant of size 20mmx10mm
on top of flashing plate with minimum softening temperature of 80°C having
excellent adhesion to concrete / brick / block work and having resistance to Rm 477
sunlight / rain and cyclic temperatures with suitable primer.
10.4.4 Flashing plate
Fixing 2mm thick and 150 mm high anodized aluminium extruded flashing
plates with slotted holes at 1m c/c along all vertical terminations
(Rate shall include 2 to 3mm diameter Aluminium counter sunk screws topped Rm 477
with 15mm Bitumastic/Polysulphide)
10.4.5 Swellable Waterstops

10.5 TANK ( SUMP, STP & OHT) WATERPROOFING -
10.5.1 Dosing integral crystalline waterproofing admix to concrete at the batching
plant / Transit mixer at minimum 0.8% by weight of cementitious content as
per manufacturer's specification.
The quantity of concrete ( to be waterproofed) in cu.m is furnished. Admix
dosage shall be as per vendor recommendation.
Note:
Rate shall include the Construction Joint treatment with crystalline / vendor Cum 2,258
approved grouting and
Rate shall include minimum 10 years system performance guarantee in
addition to product performance guarantee from both the principal material
supplier & applicator along with shop drawing.
10.5.2 Applying minimum two coats of brush-applied integral crystalline
waterproofing coat at (0.65 - 0.80 kg/sq.m) to raft slab, footing, sump wall, lift
wall, sump base slab, retaining wall etc., as per the approved procedure,
under the supervision of the vendor approved by the manufacturer.
Note:
Rate shall include the Construction Joint treatment with crystalline / vendor Sq.m 10,494
approved grouting and
Rate shall include minimum 10 years system performance guarantee in
addition to product performance guarantee from both the principal material
supplier & applicator along with shop drawing.
