NARRATIVE REPORT
I am Angeline Precious Hope F. Taniegra, one of the primary teachers, handling Grade
2-Humility and teaching MAPE subject. I’ve been so blessed to be part of CSOL family.
In each year, I had a very challenging experience but I can say, it’s fulfilling. I learned a
lot of things that really helped me with my personal and professional growth. The school
gave me opportunities to share the knowledge and skills that I have, learned new more
things and the people that I’m working with, taught me to become better in my profession
and personal life.
I’m also thankful that I’m still able to handle the Yaman ng Lahi Club Intermediate.
Because of this club, I recognize myself that I can do on-the-spot choreography in each
class that we had and I can be of great assistance and always make our class lively as
possible. I discovered that there’s more I can do as a teacher who loves dancing. And
because of it, I was able to inspire those students.
This year was also the second time that I handled the same grade and section which is
2-Humility. I had 29 amazing students. I take good care of these children like my real
children. I really had a great year experience with them. Even I experienced an incident
with some pupils, I can say that they also left a remarkable impact in my life. And in our
time together, I call them as “Anak” or dear because they are not just names on a class
list but because they become a part of my heart.
I know that I had shortcomings like being always late but still able to do and finish my
tasks and always make sure that I can be productive each day and can be of good
assistance of my colleagues. There were days that I can’t deliver my lessons well because
of not feeling well or feeling tired but I make sure that in the next days, I can make my
class livelier and more interactive as possible. And there were times that I cannot give my
attention to my students because of thinking a lot of things to do or to settle but I can still
genuinely connect with my students and “bumabawi ako sakanila” the next days.
I’m not also afraid to show my emotions in my class if I have to cry because of being
exhausted or of joy and I am so blessed to have these lovely students, they really
understand me, appreciate me and they always wanted to comfort me and cheer me up.
And I’m not always attending the bible study or prayer meeting, and I’m really sorry for
that but I make sure that before I start my day, I thanked God, I prayed for everything and
for everyone and take courage and strength for each day.
There were times also that I had misunderstandings with my colleagues, before I cannot
speak out or defend myself but now, I learned that sometimes I have to, because if I will
allow it, they wouldn’t also know what they have to learn.
I can say that everything that happened this year, became part of my improvement and
who I am now. All these experiences brought a great lesson in my life as a teacher and
as a person.
And thank you for everything Ms. Imee, for your love and support. Thank you for helping
me to achieve my learning goals and life goals for over 3 years of my teaching experience
in your institution. Thank you for giving me an inspiration and courage especially when
you share the word of God. May God bless you more, Ms. Imee. Now, I’m still looking
forward for more of God’s will and His blessings in my journey.
Thank you and may we always have God’s grace and victory.
