SPECIFICATIONS FOR SYNOPSIS

1. The synopsis shall be computer typed (English- British, Font –Times New Roman, Size-12 point)
and printed on A4 size paper.
2. The Synopsis shall be typed on one side only with double space with a margin 3.5 cm on the
left, 2.5 cm on the top, and 1.25 cm on the right and at bottom.
3. The diagrams should be printed on a light/white background; Tabular matter should be clearly
arranged. Decimal point may be indicated by full stop (.)The caption for Figure must be given
at the BOTTOM of the Fig. and Caption for the Table must be given at the TOP of the Table.

Format for Minor Project Synopsis


Title page: Sample on next page
Table of Contents: Sr No, Title, Page No
Abstract: Sample on next page
Introduction (should not exceed 3 pages)
The introduction part will include the brief introduction about the project to be
developed, technology used, field of project (if specialized one), any special technical terms
about the project.
Objectives of Project. (should not exceed 1 page).
Methodology/ Planning of work
Methodology will include the steps to be followed to achieve the objective of the project
during the project development.

Facilities required for proposed work/System Requirements


Instruments required for the development of the project.

Expected Outcome
Here specify the description of the expected result of the project
