This are some testlets I saved of the people that took the exam and were

kind enough to post it. Please revise answers. Hope it helps and God

Testlets of RQ from exams:


1) ( Fat Kid ) 9 years Obese asthmatic child falls and fractures the second tooth

c- Options are 19, 20, J, K- could be 20

2) 5th pregnant lady on the 6th week of pregnancy taking tetracycline


they asked why you should tell the pt that she should stop tetracycline ,---
When u can schedule an appointment for her
( immediately , in 6 weeks , in 12 weeks , in 20 weeks )

3) A little fat boy who eat candy and drinks soda, teeth erosion, hypertension has
what? – Type 2 Diabetes

4) Patient’s has Alzheimer’s and depression also


takes medication for it:
--- T/F is patient’s depression from the causes of his Alzheimer’s ?
--- TRUE coz AD is assoc. with depression & anxiety.

5)  Person dies in 24 hours after heart attack, what will you see:

13) Testlet on Graves' disease my FAVOR Grave’s Disease has what

14) There was this testlet question about what is true about this patient’s
allergy with medication (Penicillin) . OKAY. WTF. Type 1 hypersensitivity –
IgE was NOT there. And the only choice that even made sense was type 4
hypersensitivity – T cell, so I just picked that. What a dumb question
 
15) Patient had PUD (peptic ulcer) and dentist gave the patient antibiotics
and you had to pick a choice why --> answer choice is something
along the line where antibiotics killed the stomach bacteria and
patient feels better now 
16) Testlet: on 7 year old with small palpebral fissures and weird low nose
(fetal alcohol syndrome) who has signs for abuse (report), I think it also
asked how many teeth present
17) Testlet: another case of a fat 9 year old kid with hypertension already,
same story about how many teeth present and what 3 diseases he was
more prone to ( diabetes II, hypertension and metabolic syndrome
were my choices)
18) Testlet: Woman that has had no saliva and mouth burning for at least
2 years> she also has erythema and crusties on the edges of the mouth
(candidiasis I thought of actinic cheilitis I LIKE THE LATTER MORE).

They ask whats’most likely diagnosis for lack of saliva


( Sjorgrens, they tell you they biopsied the parotids and its not making any
saliva and submandibular had lymphocytic infiltrates, a\\) and she’s also
on dilantin (gingival hyperplasia)
19) Testlet Hiv uncontrolled with hepat. B and TB wants an implant very
obvious what tooth she’s missing since they describe only the premolar
with a very small lingual cusp so its the end one that’s missing and an
ethics question about what should you tell the dude. Give him implant
information but also warn of the prognosis given his Hiv status ( I put that
he has stopped taking Hiv meds and his ability to fight a possible infection
after the surgery is compromised )

questions in a teslet asking about what is targetted by myasthenia gravis
and what the medications do
