1.

*Vector graphics editor is a computer program that allows users to compose and
edit vector graphics images interactively on a computer and save them in one of many
popular vector graphics formats, such as EPS, PDF, WMF, SVG, or VML.

2. Photo editing is the changing of images. These images can be digital photographs,
illustrations, prints, or photographs on film). ... Photo editing is also used to make
completely new images. Photo editing is sometimes called photo manipulation, usually
when it is used to trick people.

Graphics editing refers to modifying or improving digital or traditional photographic

images using different techniques, tools or software. Images produced by scanners,
digital cameras or other image-capturing devices may be good, but not perfect. Image
editing is done to create the best possible look for the images and also to improve the
overall quality of the image according to different parameters.

3. Oil paint is a type of slow-drying paint that consists of particles of pigment suspended in a
drying oil, commonly linseed oil. The viscosity of the paint may be modified by the addition
of a solvent such as turpentine or white spirit, and varnish may be added to increase the
glossiness of the dried oil paint film.

4. Computer-aided design (CAD) is a computer technology that designs a product and

documents the design's process. CAD may facilitate the manufacturing process by
transferring detailed diagrams of a product's materials, processes, tolerances and
dimensions with specific conventions for the product in question.

5. Diagramming program/software - Software that allows the user to create flow charts,
organization charts and similar diagrams. It is similar to a drawing program, but specialized
for creating interconnected diagrams. It comes with a palette of predefined shapes and
symbols, and usually keeps the lines connected between them if they are edited and
rearranged.

6. 3-D software is a type of computer graphics software that enables the design,
development and production of 3-D graphics and animations. 3-D software allows users
to visualize, design and control an object, environment or any graphical element within a
three-dimensional scope. 3-D software includes computer-aided design (CAD) programs
and animation packages.

7. Desktop publishing (DTP) is the creation of documents using page layout software on a
personal ("desktop") computer. It was first used almost exclusively for print publications, but
now it also assists in the creation of various forms of online content.[1] Desktop publishing
software can generate layouts and produce typographic-quality text and images comparable
to traditional typography and printing. Desktop publishing is also the main reference
for digital typography. This technology allows individuals, businesses, and other
organizations to self-publish a wide variety of content, from menus to magazines to books,
without the expense of commercial printing.

Desktop publishing often requires the use of a personal computer and WYSIWYG page
layout software to create documents for either large-scale publishing or small-scale
local multifunction peripheral output and distribution — although a non-WYSIWYG system
such as LaTeX could also be used for the creation of highly-structured and technically-
demanding documents as well.[3] Desktop publishing methods provide more control over
design, layout, and typography than word processing. However, word processing software
has evolved to include some, though by no means all, capabilities previously available only
with professional printing or desktop publishing.[4]

8. Open-source software is a type of computer software in which source code is released

under a license in which the copyright holder grants users the rights to study, change, and
distribute the software to anyone and for any purpose.

9. tactile quality of the surface of an art object.

Balance refers to the visual weight of the elements of the composition. It is a sense that the
painting feels stable and "feels right." Imbalance causes a feeling of discomfort in the viewer.

Balance can be achieved in 3 different ways:

1. Symmetry, in which both sides of a composition have the same elements in the same
position, as in a mirror-image, or the two sides of a face.
2. Asymmetry, in which the composition is balanced due to the contrast of any of the elements
of art. For example, a large circle on one side of a composition might be balanced by a small
square on the other side
3. Radial symmetry, in which elements are equally spaced around a central point, as in the
spokes coming out of the hub of a bicycle tire.

See the article, Balance, for some visual examples of how the elements of art can be used to
achieve balance.

Contrast is the difference between elements of art in a composition, such that each element is
made stronger in relation to the other. When placed next to each other, contrasting elements
command the viewer's attention. Areas of contrast are among the first places that a viewer's eye is
drawn. Contrast can be achieved by juxtapositions of any of the elements of art. Negative/Positive
space is an example of contrast. Complementary colors placed side by side is an example of
contrast. Notan is an example of contrast.

Emphasis is when the artist creates an area of the composition that is visually dominant and
commands the viewer's attention. This is often achieved by contrast.

Movement is the result of using the elements of art such that they move the viewer's eye around
and within the image. A sense of movement can be created by diagonal or curvy lines, either real or
implied, by edges, by the illusion of space, by repetition, by energetic mark-making.

Pattern is the uniform repetition of any of the elements of art or any combination thereof. Anything
can be turned into a pattern through repetition. Some classic patterns are spirals, grids, weaves. For
examples of different pattern types see the Artlandia Glossary of Pattern Design. A popular drawing
practice is Zentangles, in which an abstract or representational outline is divided into different areas,
each of which contains a unique pattern.

Rhythm is created by movement implied through the repetition of elements of art in a non-uniform
but organized way. It is related to rhythm in music. Unlike pattern, which demands consistency,
rhythm relies on variety.

Unity/Variety You want your painting to feel unified such that all the elements fit together
comfortably. Too much unity creates monotony, too much variety creates [Link] need both.
Ideally, you want areas of interest in your composition along with places for your eye to rest.

Repetition

Repetition is a great way to reinforce an idea. It’s also a great way to unify a design that brings
together a lot of different elements. Repetition can be done in a number of ways: via repeating
the same colors, typefaces, shapes, or other elements of a design.
A community is a social unit (a group of living things) with commonality such as norms,
religion, values, customs, or identity. Communities may share a sense of place
situated in a given geographical area (e.g. a country, village, town, or neighbourhood) or
in virtual space through communication platforms.

Air pollution is a mixture of solid particles and gases in the air. Car emissions,
chemicals from factories, dust, pollen and mold spores may be suspended as particles.
Ozone, a gas, is a major part of air pollution in cities. When ozone forms air pollution,
it's also called smog. Some air pollutants are poisonous.
Noise pollution, also known as environmental noise or sound pollution, is the
propagation of noise with harmful impact on the activity of human or animal life. The
source of outdoor noise worldwide is mainly caused by machines, transport (especially
planes) and propagation systems.

Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies, usually as a result of human

activities. Water bodies include for example lakes, rivers, oceans, aquifers and
groundwater. Water pollution results when contaminants are introduced into the
natural environment.
An invasion game is the term used for any game where the aim is to attack an opponent's
territory and score a goal or point. Usually consisting of teams of equal players these fast
paced games focus on teamwork, keeping possession, scoring and defending.

Sungka is a popular game in the Philippines.

It involves dropping small stones or cowrie
shells into large holes on a long canoe-
shaped board.

“mancala”

This game is called mancala in the US. It is

also known as “count and capture” or “sowing
game” in English. The latter moniker is
because seeds are sometimes used instead of shells or stones. Filipinos ordinarily use
cowrie shells.

Piko
Piko is the Pinoy version of hopscotch. They throw the pamato, which is usually a
stone or small ball in one of the boxes drawn out in chalk. Whoever successfully
throws and retrieves the stone wins the game.
Tumbang Preso
4555566621``Every Filipino child knows this game. All you need to play tumbang preso is a slipper
and a tin can. The person who is “it” guards the tin can, and each player takes turns trying to hit the
can. Once a player hits the can, they must retrieve the slipper and the “it” will place the tin can back
in position. If the player does not hit the can, he will become the next “it.”

Chess is a two-player strategy boacc```123rd game played on a checkered board with

64 squares arranged in an 8×8 grid.[1] The game is played by millions of people worldwide.
Chess is believed to be derived from the Indian game chaturanga sometime before the
7th century. Chaturanga is also the likely ancestor of the Eastern strategy
games xiangqi (Chinese chess), janggi (Korean chess), and shogi (Japanese chess). Chess
reached Europe by the 9th century, due to the Umayyad conquest of Hispania. The pieces
assumed their current powers in Spain in the late 15th century; the modern rules were
standardized in the 19th century.
Dama or Draughts (British English) or checkers[1] (American English) is a group of strategy board
games for two players which involve diagonal moves of uniform game pieces and mandatory
captures by jumping over opponent pieces. Draughts developed from alquerque.[2] The name derives
from the verb to draw or to move.[3]
The most popular forms are English draughts, also called American checkers, played on an
8×8 checkerboard; Russian draughts, also played on an 8×8, and international draughts, played on
a 10×10 board. There are many other variants played on 8×8 boards. Canadian checkers and
Singaporean/Malaysian checkers (also locally known as dum) are played on a 12×12 board.

Patintero
Patintero is a game that involves many players. They are divided into two teams. This is one of those
traditional Filipino games you can often see children play on the streets. Horizontal lines are drawn
to signify the position of the players on Team A. A vertical line is drawn across the horizontal lines
and one player is assigned to that line.

This is similar to the game of tag. The objective of the game is for members of Team B to cross all
the lines and go back without being touched by any of the players assigned to the lines. The members
of Team A can only move in the direction of their assigned line.
Flexibility refers to the range of motion for a given joint. The degree of flexibility that a person
has is influenced by muscles and connective tissues, like ligaments and tendons. Stretching is a
form of exercise that can lead to an increase in flexibility.

Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper.
Unlimited substitutions are permitted. Unlike some other forms of indoor football, the game is
played on a hard court surface delimited by lines; walls or boards are not used.

hopscotch- The players stand behind the edge of a box, and each should throw
their cue ball. The first to play is determined depending on the players' agreement
(e.g. nearest to the moon, wings or chest). Whoever succeeds in throwing the cue ball
nearest to the place that they have agreed upon will play first. The next nearest is
second, and so on.
