Laughter Therapy

“Laughter is the best medicine”, We have all heard that before, but is it true?
Current researches have shown that laughter every day is healthy for the body. Laughing
also helps with depression, making our hearts healthy. There are probes It also
strengthens our immune systems, helps us look younger and so much more. I’m going
to explain you more about it.

Most diseases are related to stress, tension depression. When we have


tension, we start many problems in our body such as high blood pressure, heart troubles,
problems in our immune systems, etc., Laughing helps relaxes our muscles and helps
getting rid of stress. Muscular tension is released when you laugh, your digestion is
better. When we laugh, our mind stops the thought process, we don’t think anything.

According to one research, laughter helps in increasing the number of


natural killer cells, antibodies levels in our body which fight against diseases that attack
us, we improving our immune system. It is very useful in fighting against diseases such
as cancers and AIDS. For example in Peru there is a NGO called Bola Roja, bringing fun
and laughter to cancer patients into the hospitals they help people with cancer.

To sum up Life is hectic and stressful these days but ignoring our health is
not sensible. Health is actually true wealth and to improve overall health and enjoy the
benefits of laughter we all must laugh as many as possible. It reduces the day to day
stress and energizes us for the daily chores.
