(I/he/she/it =was not + -ing) ( we/you/they = were not + ing form)


Example.

1.She was not preparing lunch when we arrived/reached there. She was watching T.V

2.I waved my hand. But she was not looking at me.

3. When I saw him he was not chatting on mobile. He was studying.

7. They were not watering the plants. They were playing with water. I went and
shouted at them.
