MATH TEST GRADE X
Answer The Following Problem On Your Unit Test Paper !
1. Given that vector a =𝑖 + 𝑗 − √2 , b = 2𝑖 + 2√2𝑗 + 𝑝𝑘 , 𝑐 = 𝑞𝑗 + √2𝑘. If the scalar projection of
vector b to a is 1, and vector b is perpendicular to vector c, then find the value of (p+q). (-1)
2. Draw and find the other origins vectors directions for each resultant vectors (3 pairs of origins vector):
a. ⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗
𝑂𝐴 + ⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗
𝑂𝐵 = 3i + 4j
⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗ ⃗⃗⃗⃗⃗
b. 𝑂𝐵 - 𝑂𝐶 = 4i – 2j
3. Given that vector a = 4i-12j-6k, b = 4i+2j-4k, d = 2i+j+xk. If vector c is a vector projection of
vector a to b and vector d has the same length with vector c, then find the value of x. (-6)
4. Given that coordinate point O(1,1), OA = 3i+4j, OB = 4i – 3j, CD= -2i+3j, CE = 3i + 2j. If OC= OA +
OB and CF = CE – CD, then :
a. Draw and Find the direction of vector OC
b. Draw and Find the direction of vector CF
c. Find the coordinate of point F
