PROBLEM STATEMENT
The proponent designed and computed the structural analysis of a Four –
Storey Building with a total building footprint of *insert single floor area of
building here* square meters with the following design parameters:
a. f’c = 20.70 MPa (Compressive Strength of Concrete)
b. fy = 415.00 MPa (Yield Strength of Steel)
The building shall include the following architectural details:
a. Site Development Plan
b. Vicinity Map
c. Perspective
d. Elevations (Front, Rear, Right and Left Side)
e. Foundation Plan
f. Floor Plans (G/F - RD)
g. Floor Framing (2/F - RD)
h. Longitudinal and Cross Sections
i. Stairs and Details
The Structural Elements of the Four – Storey Building must be detailed according
to the following:
a. Height
- The minimum height of the building from Ground Floor to Second Floor shall
be 4.0m; while the minimum height from Second Floor to Third Floor and Third
Floor to Roof deck is 3.0m. Natural Grade line is 0.5m below Ground Floor Level.
b. Footing
- It shall have a minimum dimension of 2.0m by 2.0m.
c. Beam
- It shall have a cross-section with a minimum dimension of 250mm by 500mm.
d. Column
- It shall have a temporary cross-section with a dimension of 400mm by 400 mm.
e. Slab
- Minimum slab thickness shall conform to the provisions of the National
Structural Code of the Philippines.
f. Wall
- Thickness is upon the discretion of the designer.
