Good afternoon to everyone!

Today, we celebrate the 25th

anniversary of House of David

Foundation, Inc (HDFI), the Corporate

Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of the

House of David Group and House of

David Family. And I could not be more

excited to share this with you! As I

review the highlights, learning and

challenges that have given us great

blessings over the years, I am

reminded of the debt of gratitude that

we owe to God and to all who have

been a part of this exciting journey.

This is an event that I really look

forward to because taking the time to

give back is always an opportunity to

change the lives of many people. It is

also a way to express how much we

care about the well-being of our

community.
Page 1 of 14 pages
This year, our foundation gives extra

emphasis on uplifting lives while

guided with our Vision to succeed in

helping build communities of God-

centered families nourished

spiritually, socially, and economically

through sustainable programs that

will ensure quality of living and a

decent life for all.

I would also like to mention the HDFI

Mission which encapsulates the

purpose of our giving into words and

crystallizes what is most important to

us in our all our doings:

It is our mission to strengthen the

family with God at the center as the

core for building communities that

care and share;

Page 2 of 14 pages
We shall carry on the task of

providing family activities that

enhance strong spiritual, moral and

values formation, the development of

talent, intellect, and entrepreneurial

skills to attain better lives in the

service of God and the community at

large;

We shall commit ourselves to

uplifting the standard of living of

communities around us, by sharing

our blessings to the fullest of our

resources, time and wisdom.

We also uphold and live by our Values:

We care for our customers like

family.

Our teams are empowered with

character, competence and

conviction.

We thrive in creative sharing of ideas.

Page 3 of 14 pages
Our teams are passionate in our

commitment to serve the community.

Ultimately, everything we pursue is

for God’s greater glory.

It is a blessing to wake up every day

with an exciting and fulfilling purpose

that has allowed us to share bountiful

blessings with others. Every time we

touch a life by extending even a little

help, we enable people to unleash

their potential and cultivate a sense of

responsibility and commitment

towards the community. It’s a cycle

that we start by small acts of giving.

(Ad lib - when my children were in

their grade school days, study period)

We are proud to say that over the past

25 years, one of our foundation’s

successful projects has been- helping

students realize their full potential and

develop a positive attitude towards

Page 4 of 14 pages
life. We do not just provide students

merely the financial bump needed to

take a leap and get a degree; instead,

we are also able to boost students’

morale and confidence in their ability

to work toward a better future. This is

one of the many things we are really

grateful for.

In addition to that, we would also like

to show some of our foundation’s

major and memorable

accomplishments over the years.

Here are just some of our many

projects for the past years that we can

share with you:

1. Bata, Bata paano ka inaaruga

seminar on May 14, 2005

(Ad lib - Parenting Seminars)

Page 5 of 14 pages

The donation was also the House

of David’s way of honoring its

commitment to the public when it

agreed to the government’s

Page 6 of 14 pages
expropriation of a portion of its prime

properties in support of the Balimbing

creek widening and Flood Control

Project.

As promised, proceeds of the

expropriation will go to charitable

institutions and for various causes.

7. Turnover ceremony of water

system at Sitio, Mabalacat City

Pampanga on June 23, 2017

Last June 23, 2017, ABS-CBN

Corporation – Lingkod Kapamilya

spearheaded a Corporate Social

Responsibility event in partnership

with HDFI, BOF, Inc., and various

government agencies for the benefit

of the residents of Sitio Calapi. This

project was also the network’s way of

commemorating TV Patrol’s 30th year

of bringing breaking news and

other community features to the

attention of the entire country.

8. Medical mission with Gawad

Kalinga Luscant, Gawad Kalinga

10. Kalayaan Build with Gawad

11. Financially assisted scholars at

MQC are under HDFI because

MQC is the legacy of our HD

Family. We started with 26

scholars in 2013. For this

Academic Year 2018-2019 alone,

we have 394 scholars. And we

have supported a total of 2,083

scholars, which is more than 10%

Page 9 of 14 pages
of our population since 2003 up to the

present.

And as part of our 25th anniversary

celebration, we are excited to share

that HFDI will be donating a motorized

boat to the Municipality of Guagua on

March 15, 2019 which will be used as

a utility boat for rescue during

calamities and for cleaning up the

Guagua river.

Truly, our passion is the foundation

for our giving. It is not how much,

what, or how we give. What

matters is how much love and

sincerity we put into giving.

On behalf of the House of David

Family, who is behind the HDFI, we

would like to share with you the

House of David Family Mission

Page 10 of 14 pages
which was formulated in June 2001

together with our parents and

revisited during our 19th Family Team

Building Session (FTBS) on June 11,

2017 at Prado Farms, Eco-Resort,

Lubao, Pampanga.

"WE ARE A GRATEFUL AND LOVING

FAMILY, WORKING AND GROWING

TOGETHER TO CREATE AND SHARE

SUCCESS IN SERVICE OF THE

COMMUNITY”.

While the House of David Family (HDF)

core values called LIGHTS stand for:

L - Loving

I - Innovative

G - God-centered

H - Humility

T - Trustworthy

S - Solidarity

Page 11 of 14 pages
We are proud to say that giving has

been integrated in our way of life.

The core values of the House of David

Family are reflected in all subsidiaries

of the House of David Group.

Page 12 of 14 pages
We would like to thank the

Generation 1, our parents, for passing

on the good values to the succeeding

generations and building a legacy that

we can and are truly proud of. To our

Dad, Ladislao Sibal David (LSD), our

“Papa Choy”, as he was fondly called

by our HDF Gen. 3 (3rd generation),

who has already left us and joined our

Creator on September 24, 2016 at age

88 and our Mom Iluminada S. David

(ISD), who joined our creator on

March 15, 2014, ”please know that the

values you have taught us will forever

linger in our hearts and in our daily

lives.”

Aside from that, helping others

gives us tremendous joy and we

look forward to seize more

Page 13 of 14 pages
opportunities to uplift many more

lives in the coming years ahead.

Again, our heartfelt thanks goes to our

God, and to everyone, especially those

who are here today. Please know that

here at HDFI, our door is always open

to help whenever we can.

I wish all of you a great afternoon full

of thanksgiving and love. Thank you so

much for coming today.
