Apollo 11 Moon Landing Overview

On July 16, 1969, the Apollo 11 mission launched carrying astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins on a journey to the moon. On July 20, Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to walk on the moon's surface, collecting lunar samples during their 21 hours and 36 minutes exploring the Sea of Tranquility. Armstrong famously said "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" upon being the first person to set foot on the moon. After eight days in space including time on the lunar surface, Apollo 11 landed safely in the Pacific Ocean on July 24, 1969, bringing back 22 kilograms of lunar samples.

The apollo 11

On 16 July 1969 the Apollo 11 started a big travel in the space for arriving to the moon,
the apollo 11 was manned for Neil Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins the next day the Nasa
achieved that the 2 astronaut trod moon's surface.

The men lasted 21 hours, 36 minutes and 21 seconds in moon's surface.

The oldest was Aldrin with 39 years old and Collins and Armstrong were 36 years old.

Armstrong was the first human being who trod moons surface on 21 july 1969 at 2:56
international time.

Stepping the moon Neil Armstrong said a small step for man a great leap for mankind.

The Apollo 11 landed in the Pacific Ocean on 24 July 1969, during eight days in the moon.

They were walking in the moon meanwhile they collect lunar powder for researching in
the earth they bring 22 kilograms of luna powder to the earth.

The Apollo 11 wasn't the only mision before existing the Apollo 10 after during the
Apollo 12.
