Mix Design Lab Report

The document summarizes a laboratory report on concrete mix design. A concrete mix was designed to meet specifications of C30/37 compressive strength after 7 days and S3 slump class. Tests on the initial mix included slump, degree of compactability, and 7-day cube compression tests. The results were compared to specifications and the mix was revised. The embodied energy and carbon of the revised mix were also calculated. Through this experiment, it was understood that meeting concrete specifications is challenging due to aggregate and cement variability, requiring multiple mixes and tests.
