Re: Revenue Assessment

Thank you for the opportunity to assess your sales data in order to provide recommendations for
increasing your sales. The analysis and recommendations below are based on the data you provided,
which covers a period from May 2004 through June 2006. The analysis below is based on this data
alone. Therefore, our recommendations should be tempered by your knowledge of business realities
and your market. Please let us know if we can answer any questions concerning the analysis or there
commendations provided.

ANALYSIS 1 Trend of Years

Analysis- With the feedback obtained, I concluded that the discounts increase their revenues
sales.

1
[Recommendation)

The organization need discounts in order for people to implement the necessary products. Not
all people have the same level of money, and for this company is necessary to enhance people’s
necessaries. I want to demonstrate that if we offer more discounts, more people would be able
to buy. If we create more strategies, more than likely people would consume more.

ANALYSIS 2 Discount Revenue for Employees

Analysis: After analyzing the data, we can concluded that the lowest revenue for the employees
is Steven, and the average revenue is Robert, and we can see the highest discount revenue for
employees was give it to Margaret.

Recommendation

After analyzing the data, we can see that Margaret, Janet and Nancy have a good customer services, they
are making a great job in increasing the revenues that is why they are in the highest point. I do not like
how Steven, Michael and Anne have a low percentage, the company needs to improve it, I encourage to
have more trainings for customer services in order to all employees have a great revenues for the good of
organization.

ANALYSIS 3 Total Revenue
Analysis- I concluded that the low revenue sales person during this time is Anne and Michael.
They are not having the correct mentalities they need to work for the better of the organization. I
encourage them to keep looking for the better recommendations in order to increase the
revenues. I recommended Margaret which has the highest revenues sales per person to teach
and motivate the other employees.

Recommendation: I recommended that if everyone is on the same page, managers and

employees need to identify in which areas are having trouble. That is why is important to have
data analysis because visually is easier than just see numbers.

ANALYSIS 4 Sales by quarter

Analysis.

After analyzing, we can see that the lowest Qtr 3 which is 56923, the average was in Qtrs 1&2 concluded
between 15000-16000. We identify and analyze that in 2006 we had the greater QTR 1 278890.

Recommendation

After analyzing the data, we concluded that the lowest year that did not offer enough discount
was in year 2006, quarter one. Organizations needs to keep in mind that not all people have the
same economy, and that is why discounts are very beneficial to increase the sales revenues. For
example, we can see there is a discount going on 2004, quarter 3. My recommendation is to made
more strategies in order to people be able to buy. Have a clear vision for goals, and be able to
solve it with good research. If the company has a better solutions and be able to act contently,
the revenues would increase.

ANALYSIS 5 Country sales

Analysis

After analyzing the data, during the year 2004-2005, we can clearly see that United States and
germany have the higher revenues sales. This can be because they have beneficial discounts
that people get advantage of it. We can conclude that some of the contries have a poor discount
sales for people because they have lower number. For example, in this case Norway and
Argentina have a low number of sales because they are not having enough opportunities of
discounts.

Recommendation – The lower countries can ask for recommendation of how Germany and USA
make their discounts. By increasing the discounts, the sales revenues would increase by rate.
Decreasing the price of the product can be a beneficial way of increasing the revenues for the
good of the organization. The organization would benefit because of the discounts and most
important is that people would benefit.

ANALYSIS 6 Sum of quantities and revenue discount.

Analysis- After analyzing the data, we need to know how many quantities are being produced in
order to make the revenue discount in general. In this case, we have to identify the name of the

 Page 4
product is being produce in order to have the exact discount amount. It is not easier to find out
if the sales would increase by its discount.

Recommendation

First let’s see how many products are being produce by how much the product is being released.
The total revenue would depend of the number of product is being made. In this case, can see
how the beverages are being consume by its number of discounts are being made. I recommend
that is better to use discounts in order for the revenue increase.

SELF ASSESSMENT
After doing the final project, I have learned a lot, we had the opportunity to identify how to make
a data analysis in product category, county, order date, produce ordered, quantity of product,
product name, unknit price, and how to identify the discounts. We use excel in order to make
and identify the sales revenues including counties, revenues discounts and total sales. I
identify in which county the discounts help a lot, and even what employee makes poor
customer services. After this class, I can proudly say that I can use excel more easily. I am
more prepare for future excel management. This project depends on patient, dedication and
managing our times because it was a lot of information but I finished it on time. I am glad that I
am taking this class for my future. I am planning to be a manager, and with the feedback
obtained, I now know that managers would use data visualization in order to have everything
set in an organization.
