INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES


(The instructions must be read carefully)
[Link] should bring with them Photo Admit Card of Madhyamik/Equivalent Examination or any other Photo Identity Card e.g.
Voter ID Card, Aadhar Card, etc. for proof of their identity, without which candidates may not be allowed to enter into the
Examination Hall.
[Link] will bring with them Black/Blue Ball Point Pen only.
[Link] must enter the Examination Hall 30 minutes before the start of the examination to receive general instructions for
answering MCQ type questions.
[Link] will not be allowed to enter in the Examination Hall with Graph Papers, Log Tables, Calculators, Mobile Phone, Tab,
Digital Diary, Pager, Digital Watch or any other electronics devices.
[Link] Provisional Admit Card must be shown to the officer supervising the examination as and when asked for.
[Link] of any instruction and adoption of any unfair means in the Examination Hall shall render the candidate liable for
cancellation of his/her answer sheet and forfeiture of his/her claim for admission.
[Link] applicants who appear to be prima facie eligible are provisionally permitted to sit for this Joint Entrance Examination (JEXPO-
2018). If after scrutiny at any stage, it is found that an applicant is otherwise ineligible, his/her candidature will be cancelled
automatically even if he/she has appeared at the examination and secure position in the merit list.
[Link] case any discrepancy is observed in the data printed on this Provisional Admit Card pertaining to the candidate's personal
details, the same should be brought to the notice of the Council before the date of examination.
[Link] of seats reserved for SC/ST/OBC candidates is strictly for applicants having caste certificate originated in the State of West
Bengal only. SC/ST/OBC candidates belonging to other state outside West Bengal shall be treated as General category candidates.
[Link] copy of SC/ST/OBC/PC/LLQ or TFW certificate, as applicable, will be required at the time of counseling and admission.
[Link] must fill OMR Answer Sheet very carefully in consultation with this Provisional Admit Card and the Question Booklet.
[Link] work or any other type of writing should not be done on the OMR Answer Sheet. Question Booklet may be used for the
purpose.
