1.00.0 INTENT OF SPECIFICATION 
 
1.01.00    This  part  of  Painting  Specification  covers  the  use  of  color  as  the  certain  identification  of 
equipment, pipelines and steel structure of 2x600 MW Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant Project 
in Vietnam. This provides uniform directional guidance to the equipment manufacturers as well 
as designing and constructing companies.  
 
2.00.00  RESPONSIBILITY 

Finishing  coat  of  all  mechanical  equipment  shall  be  provided  by  equipment  manufacturer/ 
Contractor after their painting procedure fully complying with the requirement of the painting 
specification as a whole. Painting of tanks, pipelines, structures fabricated at site; finishing coat 
of supports and steel structure will be executed according to specified technical requirement.  
 
3.00.00  SPECIFICATION FOR FINISHING COAT COLOUR 
 
This  instruction  sets  out  the  procedure  to  be  followed  by  power  station  groups  for  colour 
coding  power  station  equipment,  pipelines  and  steel  structure.  Color  coding  has  to  be  in 
accordance with the Vietnamese Standards or International Equivalent Standards.
