Hello New Junta,

The orientation and Immersion program until today has been you sitting and listening to a lot of
information on insti. We believe that it is enough spoon-feeding you freshers and it would be
more engaging if you looked them up yourselves. But do you have trouble figuring out what to
find out? Well, we give you that you will carry out during the course of the next few days and
submit your findings back to us.

Mini Projects are questions or topics related to insti that you will have to explore, during the
period of the Immersion program. It's not a quiz, mind you. You will have to visit locations on
campus, hunt down people, profs, seniors, friends and staff on campus and talk to them.
In the end, you will get to know people, places, procedures, and processes that will come of use
during your time in insti. The questions have also been prepared to take into consideration the
different aspects of doubts that might eventually arise, like in academics, hostel, campus,
student activities and general awareness.

You will work in groups. Assign a name to.your group and a battle cry. Prepared by a bunch of
thoughtful seniors, the 150+ number of questions will allow you to divide questions among the
members. Keeping up the spirit of the group, work among yourselves, assigning questions,
sharing answers and learning to build trust and friendships that will help you sail through your
time here.

Pick up a few Tamil words in the process and enjoy while you are at it!
