ZUMBA DANCE CONTEST 2019

OBJECTIVE:
To be able to perform the Zumba Dance using the set criteria for
the Zumba Dance Contest 2019.

MECHANICS:
1. Participants shall be exclusively for the bona fide students of
Tabango Senior High School.
2. An absence of a participant in every section is equivalent to one
point deduction except when the student is sick or if the absence is
reasonable.
2. For the costume, it can be any Zumba attire as long as it is not
daring.
3. The Performance shall be a minimum of 3 mins. and a maximum of 5
mins. Beyond the required number of minutes means one point
deduction per minute.
4. The music which will be used shall be given by the organizer which
will be given to your respective adviser.
5. Participants are allowed to use props. No Backdrop.
6. Participants should also master the zumba dance steps of “Handclap”
for the production number which shall be given to your respective
section adviser from the organizer.
7. The result of the contest is final and irrevocable.

CRITERIA:
1. Choreography (creativity, artistry, style & originality)
50%
2. Execution (timing and coordination, projection & expression)
30%
3. Mastery 10%
4. Costume and props 10%
100%
