American jazz is a conglomeration of sounds borrowed form such varied sources as

American and African folk music, European classical music, and Christian Gospel songs.
One of the recognizable characteristics of jazz is its use of improvisation: certain parts of the
music are written out and played the same way by various performers, and other improvised
parts are created spontaneously during a performance and very widely from performer to
performer.
The earliest form of jazz was ragtime, lively songs or rags performed on the piano, and the
best-known of the ragtime performers and composers was Scott Joplin. Born in 1868 to
former slaves, Scott Joplin earned his living from a very early age playing the piano in bars
along the Mississipi. One of his reguler job was in the Maple Leaf Club in Sedalia, Missouri.
It was there that he began writing the more than 500 compositions that he was to produce, the
most famous of which was “The Maple Leaf Rag.”

Use spesific reasons and examples to support your reasons.
5. Do you agree or diagree with the following statement?
Time should never be wasted.
Use spesific reasons and examples to support your reasons.

Answer:

1. Agree, Because boss must be responsible for his subordinate who are different in
nature and behaviour.
2. Agree, because teacher must has extensive kowledge
3. I agree that goverment has a responsibility to support the arts, but if that support is
going to produce anything of value, goverment must place no restrictions on the art
that is produced. This view will become increasingly dominant in the coming century,
because in our time it is especially important to provide high level support of arts.
Many of these issues can never be resolved to everybody satisfaction, but in the long
rung, promotion the idea that govermentis mostly responsible for arts development
will lead to the betterment of all involve. Finally global cooperation and cultural
understanding resulting in responbility growth of goverment in arts support lead to
positive results of such approach for everybody
4. I’m disagree because i think the key to succes is you should focus on copetition rather
than cooperation. It always compels to you to do better than others in anything. By
competing, you will show your best. Morever, you will look the weak points, try to
correct them and consequently, you can work on improving your abilities and
potentials. Cooperationg can do you nothing except helping others who will do
nothing except helps you excel at your job. For example, when i graduated from senior
high school, i had to sit for a test to get admission to the college. My school mates had
to sit for the same test. Preparing for the exam, we formed a group to study together.
Each group member brought his or her notes and papers, which helped us all to learn
more about the test material. This shows how important cooperation is. However, this
was not enough for us to get accepted by the university as we all wanted to join the
same university. There were not enough seats for us all. Therefore, i used to study by
myself becausei wanted to be better than the rest of my class mates. So i got accepted
to the university
5. I’m totally agree, time is one of all important things in our life. I think many people
also agree whith that statement. No one waste their time for some things disanvantage
for them. For example, when you got an assigment when the time is almost over? You
won’nt! Well, maybe there are some people will, they are useless person. Why do the
time should never be wasted? I will explain now. Have you ever seen this statement:
“ time is money”? based onm that statment, many people use their time as well as
possible. If i waste my time, it is same as i waste my money. Without money, this life
would be so hard! Without time, this life would be so hard! We can’t manage our time,
our life would in a mess. If some people don’t have thinks like i do, maybe they have
their own opinionj about time. Time is just a time, we haven’t to care the time. I have
heard someone said that time is not money, we can’t buy the time! Time will never
come again! However, time won’t be repeated. Don’t ever you waste your time!
