2017 – The Washington Nationals sealed the series victory over the Milwaukee Brewers with a record display
of power that featured eight total home runs, four consecutive home runs, and five home runs in a single in-
ning. In the bottom of the third inning, Brian Goodwin, Wilmer Difo, Bryce Harper and Ryan Zimmerman hit
back-to-back-to-back-to-back home runs -- tying a Major League record for consecutive home runs, joining
seven other clubs. After a one-batter pause, Anthony Rendon also homered, making the Nationals just the
sixth team in Major League history to hit five home runs in a single inning (per the Elias Sports Bureau), and
the first since the Brewers did so vs. Cincinnati on April 22, 2006.
