Pearson Correlation Coefficients Analysis

This document presents the results of an experiment analyzing Pearson's correlation coefficients for various elements in samples from the Peniche Section in Portugal dating to the Pliensbachian-Toarcian period. It includes graphs showing strong correlations between elements like SiO2, K2O, Al2O3, MgO, Ba, Cr, Li, Na2O, Zr and Sc, with Pearson correlation coefficients ranging from 0.74 to 0.98. The single author is affiliated with Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. and is working on related projects involving the Pliensbachian-Toacian boundary and corporate education at Universidade Petrobras.
