Rainwater Gutter Calculation Guide

The document provides instructions for calculating the effective roof area and selecting the proper gutter configuration and profile for a rainwater installation. It notes that gutter installers often get it wrong and outlines a formula using length and roof pitch to calculate the effective maximum roof area draining into the gutter. It then explains how to select the appropriate gutter configuration based on factors like flow capacity and whether the downpipe is at the center or end.
