SUBJECT : SLAC ON LIS ORIENTATION FOR BOSY 2019
DATE : July 10, 2019
1. In accordance to DO 26, S. 2015 – Learner Information System (Lis) and Enhanced Basic
Education Information System (EBEIS) Updating for Beginning Of School Year (BOSY),
Guitnangbayan Elementary School will conduct a one-day Learning Action Cell for all the advisers
on July 10, 2019 9:00 – 11:00 AM (morning session) and 1:30 – 2:30 PM (afternoon session) at
the School Library.
2. The purpose of the activity is to inform all teachers on the following points:
1. To establish accurate and reliable registries of learners needed for the preparation of the
Learner Information System (LIS) database.
2. All class advisers are directed to register and update their learners’ profiles through the LIS.
3. Every learner in the basic education system shall be issued only one permanent Learner
Reference Number (LRN) that he/she shall use throughout the entire basic education
program. The Search Learner Facility of the LIS shall aid in determining whether or not the
learner already has a LRN. A learner’s uniqueness must always be established before
creating a new LRN.
4. The school LIS Coordinator and ICT Coordinator shall be in-charge of the user account
management. They shall issue user accounts for all new class advisers, and shall give them
appropriate access rights in the LIS.
5. The LIS shall be accessed through the web addresses: https://lis.deped.gov.ph. A single sign-
on is available and change of username/account name shall be managed by the system
account admins.
3. All assigned committees listed in enclosure are expected to do their duties and responsibilities.
4. The usual tradition of excellence and highest standard of professionalism shall be observed in
this school activity.
5. Widest dissemination of this memorandum is immediately desired.
